System or user variables for the current document can be entered.
HTTP header equivalents (<meta http-equiv>)
HTTP header equivalents are used to create HTTP response headers, which are used by Web browsers and Web servers for various purposes.
Add
Adds a header equivalent to the list.
Modify
Modifies the header equivalent of the selected item.
Remove
Removes the selected item from the header equivalent list.
User meta data (<meta name>)
Use this to add, modify, or remove user variables created for CGIs or other programs.
Add
Adds a user variable to the list.
Modify
Modifies a user variable of the selected item.
Remove
Removes the selected item from the system variable list.
User meta data, used for CGIs or other specific programs, are not recognized by general HTTP or Web browsers. For example, the user variable ‘generator’ refers to the name of the program used to make the document.
