General

Font

Selects a font family.

Size

Specifies the font size.

Font color

Selects the font color.

Background

Specifies the background text color.

Weight

Specifies the thickness of the font. The weight values that you can select are Normal, Bold, Bolder, Lighter, 100 ~ 900. However, the actual number of values that you can select are 9 (100 ~ 900), because Normal is the same as 400, Bold is 700, and Bolder and Lighter are the relatives values against the font width value specifed in the Document Properties dialog box.

Style

Specifies the font style: Normal, Italic, or Oblique. The Italic and Oblique styles may look different in a serif font. However, they look alike in most sans-serif fonts.

Layout

Underline

Makes text underlined.

Strikethrough

Puts a line through text.

Upperline

Puts a line above text.

Blinking

Makes text blink. This effect only works in older versions of Netscape.

None

Removes all decorative effects.

Spacing

Letter

Increases or decreases the space between letters.

Word

Increases or decreases the space between words.
