Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness

To adjust an image’s brightness, contrast or sharpness
  1. Select the image you want to adjust.
  2. Click the Layout tab, go to Effect, and then click Image Effects to open the Image Effects dialog box.
  3. On the toolbar, click any of the following buttons:
    • Namo Web Editor button image lighten Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness (Lighten)
    • Namo Web Editor button image darken Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness (Darken)
    • Namo Web Editor button image increase contrast Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness (Increase Contrast)
    • Namo Web Editor button image decrease contrast Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness (Decrease Contrast)
    • Namo Web Editor button image sharpen Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness (Sharpen)
    • Namo Web Editor button image blur Adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness (Blur)
  4. Click OK.
  5. In the Save as box, enter the path and file name under which to save the modified image. Initially, the box contains the original image’s path and file name; if you want to replace the original image file, leave the path and file name unchanged.
  6. Under Save format, select the desired image format.
  7. Click OK.
