Save as
Enter the path and filename for the new image. You can enter a new file name or click Browse and select an existing file.
Save format
GIF
Save the modified image in GIF format, which has a maximum of 256 colors. Suitable for images that have few colors.
- Interlaced: Check this option to save the image as interlaced GIF format.
- Transparent color: Check this option to save the image as a transparent GIF. Specify the color to be displayed as transparent in the Color Palette on the right.
JPEG
Save the modified image in JPEG format in 24 bits, which can accommodate millions of colors. Suitable for pictures and high-quality images.
- Option
- Lossy: Compresses image in high ratio. File size is reduced much but image quality becomes somewhat low.
- Progressive: Like interlaced GIF, the progressive JPEG images get progressively less blocky as it is being downloaded.
- Quality: the higher the number, the quality of the image becomes high. 100 provides the highest quality.
PNG
Save the modified image in PNG (Portable Network Graphics) format, which support 24 bit color. This file format can only be viewed in the Netscape/Explorer 4.0 or higher.
SIS
Save the modified image in SIS format. SIS (Simple Image Service) format is a compressed GIF format used for mobile systems.
- Type
- 256 color: Select to create an image that can contain 256 colors.
- 16 gray: Select to create an image that can contain 16 different gray colors.
- Black & white: Select to create a black and white image.
