Image Properties dialog box – General tab
Right-click Image > Image Properties – General tab
You can insert images into the document and specify the properties of the images using such things as size, alignment, etc. Namo WebEditor supports generally used image formats such as GIF, JPG, JPEG and PNG.
Image path
Specifies the path of an image.
- If you click Browse , you can select an image from the hard disk drive or URL.
- If you click Clip Art , you can select an image from the Clip Art provided by Namo WebEditor.
- If you click Site , you can select an image file from the site. The site should be first opened in order to do this.
Alt text
Enters the text that will appear when the mouse pointer is placed over an image. In a web browser that doesn’t display images, this can be the summary information about the image.
Size
Width/Height
Specifies the size of an image. The size can be specified in pixels or percentage (%) against the original size of the image. To modify the width/height of the original image, mark the Width/Height check box first.
Constrain proportions
Even if you change the size of the image, the proportion of width to height will be preserved.
Restore Original Size
Restores the original size of the image.
Layout
Alignment
Specifies the alignment of an image with text lines.
Top |
Align the top of the image with the top of the text line. |
Middle |
Align the middle of the image with the bottom of the text line. |
Baseline |
Align the bottom of the image with the baseline of the text line. |
Bottom |
Align the bottom of the image with the bottom of the text line. |
Left |
Move the image to the left, and the text to the right. |
Right |
Move the image to the right, and the text to the left. |
Top of Text |
Align the top of the text line with the top of the image. |
Absolute Middle |
Align the middle of the text line with the middle of the image. |
Absolute Bottom |
Align the bottom of the text line with the bottom of the image. |
Horizontal spacing
Creates space to the left and right-hand sides of an image.
Vertical spacing
Creates space at the top and bottom of an image.
Border thickness
Specifies the thickness of the image borders. If you set it for ’0′, borders will not appear.
