Table Borders dialog box

Place the mouse pointer inside a table – Layout > Border > Cell Borders

You can change the borders of a table or a selected group of cells.

Select the borders to modify. To select multiple borders, click each while holding down the Ctrl key.

(border selection buttons)

Click a button to select, from left to right: inside borders, outside borders, all borders, vertical borders, or horizontal borders.

Style

Select a border style from the drop-down menu.

None

Selected borders will not appear.

Dotted

Selected borders appear as dotted lines.

Dashed

Selected borders appear as dashed lines.

Solid

Selected borders appear as solid lines.

Double

Selected borders appear as double lines.

Groove

Selected borders appear in a frame brightened from the bottom right.

Ridge

Selected borders appear in a frame brightened from the top left.

Inset

Selected borders appear in a frame extending inward.

Outset

Selected borders appear in a raised frame.

Color

Selects a border color from the Color Palette.

Width

Specifies the width of selected borders and a unit of measurement from the drop-down menu.
