Paragraphs
Paragraphs are the most basic text elements in HTML. A paragraph is a block of text (although it may also include images and other inline elementsAn inline element is an element that is contained in a paragraph or other block element. Inline elements do not have vertical space before or after them. Common inline elements include images and bold or emphasized text.) that, by default, has no special formatting. Whenever you enter text (by typing or pasting) in Edit mode without applying a particular HTML styleA text style that is applied using an HTML tag, such as <h1> (for level-1 headings) or <li> (for list items). HTML styles are distinguished from CSS styles, which are defined using properties of cascading style sheets., Namo WebEditor automatically creates a paragraph element to contain the text. Pressing Enter completes the current paragraph and starts another. By default, paragraphs are separated from each other and other elements by white space above and below. The exact size of this space is determined by the Web browser unless you specify a particular top and/or bottom margin.
To start a new line of text without starting a new paragraph, press Shift+Enter.
