Quiz Manager

By using the Quiz Manager, you can not only grade quizzes more easily, you can also check and edit all of the inserted quiz questions in one place.

To modify a quiz
  1. In the Tools menu, go to the ICT Tools group and click Quiz Manager.
  2. Select one of the following.
    • To change the way the quiz is scored or to add a time limit, click Question Properties.
    • To add a new question or edit/delete an existing question, click the Add, Edit or Delete buttons next to the question list.
    • To change the properties of the Submit button, click Submit Button Properties.
  4. Click OK.

To set a time limit

You can set the quiz to automatically close by setting a time limit.

  1. In the Tools tab, go to the ICT Tools group and click Quiz Manager.
  2. Click Question Properties.
  3. In the Question Properties dialog box, check the Set a time limit checkbox and enter the time limit in terms of seconds.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog box and click OK again.
To set different points to a question

You can set different points to a question depending on the question’s degree of difficulty.

  1. In the Tools tab, go to the ICT Tools group and click Quiz Manager.
  2. Click Question Properties to open the Question Properties dialog box.
  3. Select Show Grades and enter the perfect score in the Perfect Score field. Then select Set different points to a question.
  4. Click OK.
  5. In the Quiz Manager’s Question List, select the question for which you will edit the score and click Edit.
  6. In the Question Settings dialog box, go to the Marks section and set the score that is to be received for getting the question correct. Click OK.
  7. Repeat steps 5-6 for each question. When you are finished, click OK.
