Namo Menu > Preferences – HTML Source tab
Lets you set options for editing in HTML mode.
General
Source font
Select the font for in HTML mode.
Font size
Select the font size for HTML mode.
Spacing
Set the space between lines.
Text
Select the general font color for HTML mode. Default is black.
Background
Select the background color for HTML mode. Default is white.
Highlight
Select a highlight color to mark the current line in HTML mode.
Source coloring
Controls settings for coloring tags and other special objects in the HTML window.
Language
Select the type of code for which you want to set up source coloring. The choice of code type determines the objects that are listed on the Object drop-down menu.
Object
Select the object type for which you want to specify the color. The list of object types on this menu depends on the selection on the Language drop-down menu.
Color
Click to specify the color for the object type selected on the Object drop-down menu.
Editing aids
Show margin
Shows margin on the left side of the document window in HTML mode. Click the color box to select the margin color.
Show line numbers
Shows line numbers on the left side of the document window in HTML mode. Line numbers are especially helpful when debugging script errors. Click the color box to select the number color.
Highlight current line
Controls whether the line containing the insertion point in HTML mode is highlighted in color. Click the color box to select the highlight color.
Other options
Auto indentation
Automatically indent a new line to the same starting position as the previous line.
Soft-wrap lines
Any line that is too long to fit in the window will be wrapped to multiple lines.
Use tabs to indent
Indent using tabs. Otherwise, use spaces.
Tab width
Specify the length of tabs as a number of spaces.
Preserve forum source blocks
Preserve forum source blocks when you modify the Namo Webboard skins. (You can use Namo WebBoard with Namo WebEditor 6.)
Enable code helpers
Enables the display of quick-select menus when you start typing a tag, attribute, or CSS property in the HTML window.
Restore Defaults
Click to restore all default settings for HTML editing.
