Print settings for the current editing session can be specified.

Paper

Size

Selects a paper size from the drop-down list.

Source

Selects the source of the paper for the printer from the drop-down list..

Orientation

Portrait

Prints the page with vertical orientation.

Landscape

Prints the page with horizontal orientation.

Margins (inches)

Left/Right/Top/Bottom

Enters the page margins, the distance of the header from the top of the page, and the distance of the footer from the bottom of the page, in inch. The default value is 1 inch.

Header/Footer

Sets the margins for the header and footer, respectively. The default value is 0.5 inch.

Header/Footer

The header and footer each consist of two parts. One part is aligned with the left margin; the other part is aligned with the right margin.

Different even/odd pages

Select this check box to have different headers and footers for even and odd pages.

Even pages

If Different even/odd pages is selected, click this radio button to edit the header and footer for even-numbered pages.

Odd pages

If Different even/odd pages is selected, click this radio button to edit the header and footer for odd-numbered pages.

Header

The left text box specifies the contents of the left-side header. The right text box specifies the contents of the right-side header. Use the drop-down menus (marked ”) to choose from the available header items, such as document title, page number, etc.

Footer

The left text box specifies the contents of the left-side footer. The right text box specifies the contents of the right-side footer. Use the drop-down menus to choose from the available footer items, such as document title, page number, etc.

General settings

Start page numbering at

Specifies the beginning page number. Has no effect if page numbers are not included in the header or footer. The default value is 1.

Print background color/image

Select this option to print the document’s background color or background image. By default, the background color or image is not printed to enhance the readability of the document when printed on a black-and-white printer, such as most laser printers.

Print all text black

Select this option to print all text as black, regardless of text color. This usually enhances readability when printing on non-color printers, but if the Print background color and image option is enabled, this option should be deselected.

Allow page breaks inside tables

Select this option to allow page breaks to occur inside tables. If you deselect this option, a page break will be forced to occur before a table that would otherwise be divided by a page break. However, tables that are too large to be printed on one page will be divided regardless of this setting.

Use Defaults (button)

Restores all settings to their defaults.

Printer (button)

Lets you select a printer other than the default printer.
