Terms

Find

Enter the text to search for, or use the drop-down list to select from strings used in previous searches.

Replace with

Select the check box if you want to replace found text with other text. Enter the replacement text, or use the drop-down list to select from strings used in previous searches.

Search in

Site

Select this radio button to search within the current site. Only available if a site is open.

Folder

Select this radio button to search all the documents in a particular folder. Enter the path of the folder or click Browse to find and select a folder in the Browse for Folder dialog box.

Options

Match case

Search only for occurrences of the Find text that have exactly the same capitalization as the Find text.
For example, if you search for ‘namo’, ‘Namo’ and ‘NAMO’ will be ignored.

Match whole words only

Search only for occurrences of the Find text that are whole words, not parts of words.
For example. when you search for ‘tree’, ‘treetop’ and ‘pinetree’ will be ignored.

Match full-/half-width

Search only for occurrences of the Find text that have the same character width as the Find text. This option only affects searches in double-byte (Asian) text.

Advanced options

Search HTML documents only

Searches only HTML files (not TXT or other files).

Find hyperlinks only

Searches only the URLs of hyperlinks. For example, searching for “namo” finds the URL “http:/www.namo.com/” in the href attribute of a link, but not “Namo”.

Search sources only

Search the HTML source code of the documents, rather than content visible in a browser.

Buttons

Find

Starts the search. Does not change any found strings.

Replace

Starts the search. Any found text will be replaced with the replacement text.

Stop

Aborts the search.

Close

Closes the dialog box.

Result list

Shows the search results. You can open a found document by double-clicking it in the list.
