Image Control Properties dialog box
Develop > Form > Form field > Image Control
When a site visitor clicks on an image form control, the coordinates of the click are sent to the Web server.
Name
Enter a name for the image form field. The name is used to distinguish this field from other fields in the same form.
Image path
Enter the path or URL to the image file.
- Click (Browse) to find and select an image file on your local file systemThe collection of drives and network folders connected to your computer.
- Click (Clip Art) to select an image from the clip art library.
- Click (Site) to select from a list of image files belonging to the current local site (if one is open).
Size
Width/Height
Optionally sets the width and height of the image as you wish it to appear in the document. Specify the width and height in pixels or as a percentage of the window size.
Restore Original Size
Click to restore the image size to the actual width and height of the image.
Constrain proportions
Click to constrain the horizontal/vertical ratio of the image when resizing.
Layout
Alignment
Specifies the alignment of images and text. The possible values are:
Top |
Aligns the top of the image with the top of text. |
Middle |
Aligns the middle of the image with the baseline of text. |
Baseline |
Aligns the bottom of the image with the baseline of text. |
Bottom |
Aligns the bottom of the image with the bottom of text. |
Left |
Places the image at the left side of the paragraph containing the image. Text in the paragraph flows to the right of the image. |
Right |
Places the image at the right side of the paragraph containing the image. Text in the paragraph flows to the left of the image. |
Top of Text |
Aligns the top of the image with the top of the tallest characters in the same line. This is usually but not always the same as top alignment. |
Absolute Middle |
Aligns the middle of the image with the middle of text in the same line. |
Absolute Bottom |
Aligns the bottom of the image with the bottom of the lowest characters in the same line. |
Horizontal spacing
Specifies the horizontal margin of the image, in pixels.
Vertical spacing
Specifies the horizontal margin of the image, in pixels.
Border thickness
Sets the thickness of the border, in pixels. Set to 0 for no border.
Style
Opens the Style dialog box so you can edit the style properties of the form control. Refer to the help for the Character tab, the Paragraph tab, or the Borders & Background tab of the Style dialog box for details.
