This effect is applied to the selected layer, or to the entire paragraph containing the insertion point.

Animation layer name

If the effect is being applied to an existing layer, this box shows the name of the selected layer. Otherwise, enter a name for the paragraph to which the effect is being applied; ‘alayer1′ is provided as a default name in such cases. The name must begin with a letter and may only contain letters, numbers, and underscores (_). Spaces and symbols cannot be used.

Zoom text

  • Zoom In: Enlarges the object as the animation proceeds.
  • Zoom out: Reduces the object as the animation proceeds.

Word by word

If the text in the paragraph or layer contains more than one word, this option makes the animation proceed word by word: the first word will move from the starting position to the ending position, followed by the second word, and so forth.
