General

Class ID

Select the ActiveX object you want to insert in this drop-down menu.

ID

Enter a name for the inserted object (or just use the default ID).

Codebase

Enter the URL from which the ActiveX control may be downloaded. (This is used by browsers when a site visitor doesn’t have the ActiveX control installed on their system.)

Data file

Enter the URL of the data file used by the ActiveX object, if any.

Size and spacing

Width/Height

Specify the width and height of the ActiveX object as it will appear in the document. You can specify the size in pixels or as a percentage of the window size.

Horizontal/Vertical spacing

Specify the amount of blank space around the object in pixels.

Alignment

Specify how to align the object with text on the same line.

Parameters

Click to open the ActiveX Control Parameters dialog box, where you can edit the values of each of the object’s parameters.

Javascript file path

If you’ve selected the option, Save javascript file for tags(object, applet, embed) on the Save tab of the Preferences dialog box, the default name of the javascript file that the ActiveX object will be saved as appears on the text box.

Save as javascript file

Select this option if you want to insert ActiveX object as a JavaScript on the document.
