Media Properties dialog box – Real Player tab
Insert > Media > RealPlayer
General
Specifies properties for playing a Real Player file.
Path
Specifies the path of the Real Player file. Click Browse to select the file from the hard disk drive.
ID
Enters ID values needed for playing Real Player.
Width/Height
Specifies the width/height of Real Player. If you specify in pixels, the size will be fixed. If you specify in percenage (%), the size will change in proportion to the size of the web browser window.
Horizontal/Vertical Spacing
Creates space around Real Player. If you set Horizontal spacing, space will be created to the left and right-hand side. If you set Vertical spacing, space will be created at the top and bottom. The space value is set in pixels.
Alignment
Selects alignments such as Top, Middle, Baseline, Bottom, Left, Right, Top of Text, Absolute Middle, and Absolute Bottom.
Play options
Auto play
The Real Player file will run automatically in the web browser as soon as it is opened.
Loop
The Real Player file will run repeatedly. If you do not select this option, the Real Player file will run only one time.
Screen options
Center (Auto size)
If you select this option, the size set in Width/Height will be ignored, and the actual size will be displayed.
Controls
Allows the user to specify the appearance of the controller.
- All: Shows all items.
- ImageWindow: Shows the movie window only.
- InfoPanel: Shows the file information window.
- InfoVolumePanel: Shows the file information and volume control slider.
- ControlPanel: Shows the control panel.
- playbutton: Shows the start button and pause button.
- stopbutton: Shows the stop button.
- VolumeSlider: Shows the volume control slider.
- PositionSlider: Shows the media file position slider.
- PositionField: Shows the position field that displays the lapsed/entire time of the media file being played.
- StatusPanel: Shows the status panel that displays the lapsed/entire time and status of the media file being played.
- StatusBar: Shows the status bar.
- StatusField: Shows the status field.
Main Aspect
If you select this option, the player will preserve the proportion of the size within the given size set in Width/Height.
Javascript file path
If you’ve selected the option, Save javascript file for tags(object, applet, embed) on the Save tab of the Preferences dialog box, the default name of the javascript file that a Real Player file will be saved as appears on the text box.
Save as javascript file
Select this option if you want to insert Real Player file as a JavaScript on the document.
If you select both Center (Auto size) and Main Aspect options, the Main Aspect attribute prevails.
