Media Properties dialog box – Windows Media Player tab

General
Specifies properties for playing Windows Media Player.
Path
Specifies the path of the Windows Media Player file. Click Browse to select the file from the hard disk drive.
ID
Enters ID values needed for playing Windows Media Player.
Width/Height
Specifies the width/height of Real Player. If you specify this in pixels, the size will be fixed. If you specify this in percenage (%), the size will change in proportion to the size of the web browser window.
Horizontal/Vertical Spacing
Creates space around Windows Media Player. If you set Horizontal spacing, space will be created to the left and right-hand side. If you set Vertical spacing, space will be created at the top and bottom. The space value is set in pixels.
Alignment
Selects alignments such as Top, Middle, Baseline, Bottom, Left, Right, Top of Text, Absolute Middle, and Absolute Bottom.
Play options
Auto play
The Windows Media Player file will run automatically in the web browser as soon as it is opened.
Screen options
Show tracker
If you select this option, the search slider appears.
Show controls
If you select this option, controllers such as the Play/Stop/Pause buttons will appear.
Show goto bar
If you select this option, the goto bar will appear. In the goto bar, you can view shortcuts to specific points of a media file.
The shortcuts that appear in the goto bar must be specified while the media file is being created/modified. If the media file is without shortcuts, you cannot view the shortcuts in the goto bar.
Show display
Information such as Author, Copyright, etc will be displayed.
Show status bar
The status bar displays the lapsed/entire time and status of the media file being played.
Auto size
If you select this option, the size set in Width/Height will be ignored, and the actual size will be displayed.
Javascript file path
If you’ve selected the option, Save javascript file for tags(object, applet, embed) on the Save tab of the Preferences dialog box, the default name of the javascript file that the Windows Media file will be saved as appears on the text box.
Save as javascript file
This option is selected by default if you’ve selected the Save javascript file for tags(object, applet, embed) option on the Save tab of the Preferences dialog box. If you don’t want to insert the Windows Media file as JavaScript, deselect the check box.
If you do not select Show controls, the slider will not appear, even after you select show tracker.
