Flash Button Properties dialog box

(double-click a Flash Button)

Lets you modify the properties of a Flash Button. The preview area at the top shows the selected Flash Button with the specified properties.

Text

Text

Displays the text to be inserted in the Flash Button. You can enter the text you want in this text box.

Font

Specifies the font of the text.

Size

Specifies the size of the text.

Offset X/Y

Specifies the distance between the button text and the button image. Enter a positive number in X to move the text to the right, a negative number to move the text to the left. Enter a positive number in Y to move the text downwards and a negative number to move the text upwards. By default, the X and Y value are ’0′, which makes the text positioned at the very center of the button image.

Hyperlink

Specifies the URL of the Flash Button’s hyperlink, if any.

  • Click Namo Web Editor button open docs Flash Button Properties dialog box (Open Documents) to select among the documents that are currently open in Namo WebEditor.
  • Click Namo Web Editor button site Flash Button Properties dialog box (Site) to select among the files that belong to the current local siteA managed collection of documents, folders, and resource files on the local file system that you intend to publish as a Web site.. If no site is currently open, this button will be disabled.

Target

Specifies the target window or frame in which the Flash Button’s link will load. If the current document is part of a frameset, you can click the Namo Web Editor button browse target frame Flash Button Properties dialog box (Browse Frames) button to pick a frame visually.

Appearance

Height/Width

Displays the native height and width of the Flash Button, in pixels. You cannot edit these values. To resize the Flash Button, exit the dialog box and drag one of the image’s resize corners.

Alignment

Specifies the native horizontal alignment of the Flash Button. You cannot edit this value. To change the horizontal alignment of the Flash Button with respect to its parent containerThe element, frame, or window that immediately contains the current element., exit the dialog box and use one of the alignment buttons on the Formatting Toolbar.

Background

Specifies the background color of the Flash Button. This sets the color of any “empty” areas within the image’s bounding box.

Transparent

Check this option to make the background of the button transparent, so that the page background shows through empty areas of the Flash Button.

Javascript file path

If you’ve selected the option, Save javascript file for tags(object, applet, embed) on the Save tab of the Preferences dialog box, the default name of the javascript file that the Flash Button file will be saved as are displayed on the text box.

Save as javascript file

Select this option if you want to insert Flash Button file as a JavaScript on the document.
