Smart ClipArt Editor dialog box
Insert > Smart ClipArt – right-click and Modify
The Smart ClipArt Editor is a streamlined version of Namo WebCanvas, the standalone vector graphics editor, designed to make it easy to edit Smart ClipArt images directly from inside Namo WebEditor. You can open the Smart ClipArt Editor by double-clicking a Smart ClipArt image in the document window.
If WebCanvas is not installed on your computer, the Smart ClipArt Editor will not be available.
Top toolbar buttons
Save Copy
Saves a copy of the image. Click Save copy to open the Save as dialog box, specify the file name, and then click Save.
Cut
Copies the selected object(s) to the clipboard and removes them from the canvas.
Copy
Copies the selected object(s) to the clipboard.
Paste
Pastes the contents of the clipboard onto the canvas.
Undo
Undoes what you have just done.
Redo
Redoes what you have undone.
Group
Groups selected objects. The grouped objects are handled as a single object.
Ungroup
Ungroups the selected group. Once ungrouped, the objects can again be manipulated individually.
Across
Distributes the selected objects evenly along the horizontal axis.
Down
Distributes the selected objects evenly along the vertical axis.
Width
Make the widths of the selected objects equal.
Height
Make the heights of the selected objects equal.
Both
Make the widths and heights of the selected objects equal.
Align Left
Aligns the selected objects on their left edges.
Align Center
Horizontally centers the selected objects with respect to each other.
Align Right
Aligns the selected objects on their right edges.
Align Top
Aligns the selected objects on their top edges.
Align Middle
Vertically centers the selected objects with respect to each other.
Align Bottom
Aligns the selected objects on their bottom edges.
The object you select last becomes the standard for alignment. If you select several objects at the same time, the bottommost object becomes the standard for alignment.
Editing toolbar buttons
Selection Tool
Selects/moves an object.
Direct Selection Tool
Selects/moves the handles of an object.
Text Tool / 
Text Path Tool
Lets you add a text object or text on a path.
Ellipse Tool / 
Polygon Tool / 
Star Tool
Lets you draw an ellipse, polygon, or star, respectively.
Rectangle Tool / 
Rounded Rectangle Tool
Lets you draw a sharp-cornered rectangle or a rounded rectangle, respectively.
Rotate Tool / 
Skew Tool / 
Reflect Tool
Lets you rotate, skew, or reflect (flip) an object, respectively. Double-click the button to open the Rotate/Skew dialog box or the Reflect di
alog box, depending on which tool is shown.
Scale Tool
Lets you resize an object using the mouse. Double-click the button to open the Scale dialog box.
Eyedropper Tool / 
Paint Bucket Tool
Lets you copy the fill/stroke attributes of an object or apply the copied fill/stroke attributes, respectively.
Gradient Vector Tool / 
Scale and Rotate Pattern or Gradient Tool
Lets you set the starting point, ending point, and direction of a gradient; or scale and rotate a pattern or gradient, respectively. Double-click the button to reset the gradient or scale and rotation of the vector or pattern.
Export Area Tool
Lets you specify the area that will be visible when you save or export the image. Double-click the button to reset the export area to fit the image.
Hand Tool
Moves the canvas so that you can edit an object conveniently. If you double-click on the canvas, it will be automatically adjusted to the center of the edit window. Double-click the button to recenter the image in the window.
Zoom Tool
Zooms in and out the canvas. Double-click the button to restore actual size.
