Editing a theme’s styles

You can modify the properties of any of the styles defined in a theme. Editing a theme style is the much the same as editing an ordinary style, except that you do it in the Theme Properties dialog box rather than the Styles dialog box.

For a list of names and descriptions of the default theme styles, refer to “Styles included in a theme“.

To edit styles in a theme
  1. On the Tool menu, click Resource Manager in the Tool Window, and then click the Theme tab.
  2. Select the theme you want to edit and then click the Theme Properties button (at the bottom of the window).
  3. For each style you want to edit, do the following:
    1. Select the style in the style list.
    2. In each of the Character, Paragraph, and Borders & Background tabs, modify the desired properties.
  4. When finished, click OK.
